Business Tax Accountant

We are growing and seeking a dynamic, motivated person who is able to multitask to join our team. You must be self motivated and enjoy a fast paced environment. Ability to research and come to correct conclusions is important. You must also be able to complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner.

You will perform various accounting duties for a variety of small to mid-size businesses including general ledger review work such as preparation of adjusting and correcting journal entries, setting up of chart of accounts, reconciliations, workpaper preparation, etc.

You will prepare business returns including the following:

  • 1065 Partnerships
  • 1120S S Corporation
  • 1120 Corporation
  • 1041 Trust and Estates
  • 1040s including those with Schedule C and E

Experience with QuickBooks, Sage (Peachtree) and the Thomson Reuters Suite of products such as Accounting CS and Ultratax would be helpful.

Previous experience in a public accounting environment would be preferred but is not required.


January through April would involve 40+ hours per week possibly shifting to part-time from May through December.

CPA license not required but you must be able to work independently and have the knowledge required to get the job done.
